Hello, my name is Cheri and I'm 12 years old. I was inspired to start this website in June of 2011 in the summer of the sixth grade. I recently raised money for the Walk For Life, a ministry for the Pregnancy Center. I was happy to raise over $1,800.00 for them.
I want to be able to help families, schools, and ministries in need so I formed Cheri's Angels, which is a faith based Christian Non-Profit Organization.
I was touched one day, when I was at my friend's house and a young boy on his skateboard came up to the front door and asked if his dad could mow the lawn for the family, because he had just lost his job. They were not able to offer him a job, so the boy left sadly, which made me feel bad for him and his family. I felt like I wanted to help him, and others like him and his family.
In the Bible it says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify our Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:16.
We will start off by showcasing one family or ministry a month. I will interview them, then at the end of the month we will provide them with the donations that we have collected from you!
